Where is The Aegean Region?
Aegean region takes its name from Aegean Sea where is located between west coasts of Turkey and east coasts of Greece. The region dates back to 5000 BC almost. It has hosted many states like Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, Lydia, Phrygia, Seljuk and Ottoman Empire in history. Aegean region in the place where the money was invented.
The region is very rich in historical ruins. There are lots of historical sites such as Ephesus, Didyma, Hierapolis, Laodiceia, Miletus, Sardis and Troy.
Besides historical ruins, the region has lots of beautiful coats and touristic places like Bodrum, Kuşadası, Didim, Marmaris, Çeşme, Fethiye.
